"We recently celebrated 50 years of Title IX and equity for women and girls in sports, but as with all laws, it’s only as good as its enforcement.” — Sara Jane Baldwin, Gender Justice Senior Staff Attorney A win for all Minneapolis Public Schools students — but it goes without saying that gender equity should not require such constant vigilance. See something that's just not right? Let us know — together we can help get results!

Meagan McIntyre has been an invaluable member of our legal team this summer—and we're thrilled that she plans to continue to put her skills and talents to work with Gender Justice this fall!
This summer Meagan McIntyre is a Human Rights Center fellow working with Gender Justice. Megan shares that the work has been been both challenging and deeply rewarding, and she has had the opportunity to work on cases that are not just about individual justice, but about setting legal precedents that will protect others from discrimination in the future. Megan has had the privilege of meeting with clients, drafting legal research memos, briefs, and advocacy letters, and engaging in a variety of projects that spanned issues such as discrimination based on sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation. She reflects that being part of a strategic impact litigation team allowed her to see how these legal efforts can drive systemic change and create a more just society.
