This #SaturdaySalute, we honor SFC Jewel H. Sharpe Jr., nominated by his wife for his remarkable 37 years of service with the Army National Guard. Jewel’s commitment to service is undeniable. He once deploying with just 10 days' notice before his daughter was born, and did not meet her for the first time until she was 11 months old. After completing five deployments, Jewel retired just before his 60th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of sacrifice and commitment. Thank you, SFC Sharpe, for your lifelong service. #SaluteYourHero

This #WarriorWednesday, we honor Col. Julia Hamblet, a trailblazing Marine who transformed the role of women in the Marine Corps. Serving from WWII through the 1960s, she became the youngest woman to head the Women Marines and was instrumental in integrating women into the Corps. Col. Hamblet commanded thousands of women and received the Legion of Merit for her outstanding service. Her leadership broke barriers and paved the way for future generations of women in the military. Her legacy of courage and dedication will never be forgotten. Semper Fi, Col. Hamblet!

Last week, we had the honor of sending WWII veterans from New York on a special trip to the The National WWII Museum in New Orleans. With support from American Airlines and a local high school, this journey is more than just a trip—it’s an opportunity for these brave veterans to share untold stories, connect with others, and inspire the next generation. We’re proud to host these trips and continue to preserve their legacies. https://bit.ly/4fZNgVk

This #MedalOfHonorMonday, we honor Corporal Edward Andrew Bennett for his extraordinary bravery during WWII. When his company was pinned down by enemy fire in Heckhuscheid, Germany, Cpl. Bennett courageously flanked the enemy, single-handedly eliminating seven German soldiers in a fierce hand-to-hand battle. His fearless actions saved countless lives and ensured the success of his unit's mission. Today, we salute you!

"It's very healing, just knowing Gary's got my back." We had the honor of welcoming the children of fallen heroes from the Vietnam War to the Gary Sinise Foundation offices in Nashville. Their courage and resilience remind us that the sacrifices of their loved ones will never be forgotten. As we continue to support these incredible families, we stand together to honor the legacy of those who gave everything for our freedom.
