On September 12, 2024, GWB’s own Amity Edmonds was appointed the inaugural President of the Stanford E. Lacy American Inn of Court. This is the only Workers’ Compensation Inn of Court in South Carolina and one of just nine nationwide. Amity played a crucial role in its establishment, including setting Rules and Policies, nominating Members, forming Pupilage Groups and Committees, and defining its objectives. Michelle Runge, Director of Chapter Relations for the American Inns of Court, and keynote speaker Honorable James E. Lockemy, along with guest speaker Stan Lacy, were present. Additional GWB inductees to the Inn of Court include T. Cory Ezzell, Allison Galofaro, Casey Gonyea, Jared M. Pretulak and Chrissie Ormand.
