Preparing students for academic success.
About us
Galin Education provides education services for children, families, and organizations. We work one-on-one, in small groups, or in classes to help students achieve success in school, on standardized tests, and in gaining admissions to top colleges and universities. We work with families to help them navigate the complex worlds of school choice (including charter, private, and virtual schools) and special education (developing and monitoring individualized education plans, working with school-based support teams, suggesting outside consultants and assessments, etc.). We work with organizations to develop and execute academic and extracurricular programs to enable students of all ages to learn new skills, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

"Over the past year, the university conducted a comprehensive review of the relevant academic research on testing and analyzed the university's three years of test-optional admissions experience and related data. With input from faculty colleagues, the review concluded that test scores, when considered in context as part of a holistic approach to admissions, serve as an important predictive metric to assess the likelihood of a student's academic success at Johns Hopkins." https://lnkd.in/e78ppCBM

Although they may be able to write a killer application essay, it’s too late to change what’s already baked in: their grades, experiences and accomplishments. That’s why early high-school students are smart to ask: What really matters in college admissions? Galin is here to tell you! 1. Grades 2. Course Rigor 3.
