Last week, I attended EthCC[7] in Brussels, Belgium. I had a blast meeting old friends in the industry, making new ones, and meeting Infinite Jungle listeners for the first time in-person. One of my primary takeaways from the conference was the realization that a rollup-centric roadmap for Ethereum will reduce the importance of Ethereum upgrades over time as the ecosystem depends less and less on the protocol for user-facing improvements.
