“We are thrilled that our journey to live up to our values has brought us to this space. When the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation says we want to achieve health equity faster, together, that includes honoring the often overlooked leadership of queer people, and particularly the leadership of trans people of color. We’re working in new ways that honor our nation’s history to pave way to a future where health is no longer a privilege for some, but a right for all.” Join us on September 19 in NYC to honor the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) our other awardees for their transformative impact on #LGBTQ philanthropy. "In the many years I have known Rickke, he has never stopped being an organizer and trailblazer. As a leader in philanthropy, he piloted funding models that helped foundations concede decision-making power to the people and communities doing the work on the ground. He spearheaded challenging and necessary conversations about the role of private foundation endowments and the power of mission-aligned investment strategies. And he never forgets that he’s working on behalf of his people, our communities, and for a just and liberated future we all deserve and will win." Glo Ross, U.S. Social Justice Program Officer at Arcus Foundation shared a bit about their experience with Rickke Mananzala. We are thrilled to be able to celebrate Rickke's leadership at this year's Pride in Philanthropy Awards for all these reasons and more! Join us at the award ceremony on September 19 http://l.ead.me/pip24/
