MI Health has been working with employers to accelerate solutions to the concurrent addiction and mental health crises since 2017. We are pleased to see a growing movement among employers that holistically recognizes employees beyond their professional roles. This reflects what MI Health has advocated for from the start: equal prioritization of mental, financial, and physical health through a "whole-person" approach. This series features brief and meaningful insights captured through interviews with executives from a variety of industries and sectors. We hope this series will spark ideas and inspire more leaders to take steps toward implementing #wholepersonhealth for their workforces. We are excited to share the journey of our recent fitness challenge supporting Shatterproof and raising awareness of addiction. Over the past month, our employees wholeheartedly embraced this initiative to prioritize their health and fitness, no matter where they worked. In the remote fitness challenge, Arushi Pandey secured first place, with Sally Leahy RN, BSN, LSSGB coming in second. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by our team members were truly outstanding, and the positive impact on our collective well-being was palpable. We all had a great time at Shatterproof’s addiction awareness walk in Chicago on Saturday. At FQA and FQA Institute for Social Impact, we are passionate about supporting people with substance use disorder and their families and are committed to advancing solutions in the addiction space.
