This month on Behind the Badge, we’re excited to feature Cheyanna Swisher, a valued Environmental Services (EVS) team member who has been with Foundation Health Partners for eight years. Cheyanna was drawn to FHP in search of a healthier work environment and a stable income, and she’s found exactly that—along with a sense of purpose in her work. One of the things Cheyanna loves most about her job is the independence it offers. Working behind the scenes, she takes pride in creating a clean and safe environment that helps patients heal. Cheyanna values being part of a positive work environment that’s making a difference in the community. Her commitment to her job and passions is inspiring, and we’re fortunate to have her on the FHP team.

We are honored to introduce Stephen Heffington, MD, as the new Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with Foundation Health Partners. Dr. Heffington most recently served as the CMO for Alaska Regional Hospital. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Lipscomb University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee. He completed a six-year residency and a Urologic Surgery and Renal Transplantation fellowship from the University of Missouri. Dr. Heffington has many years of experience in executive healthcare leadership, and we are excited to have him join our team!
