Terraa, a Moroccan B2B distribution platform for fruits and vegetables, has opened its 18th store as part of its rapid expansion across the country. The startup aims to streamline the supply chain by connecting farmers directly with retailers and HORECA (hotels, restaurants, and cafés), eliminating wholesalers to reduce inefficiencies, waste, and prices. Since its founding, Terraa has experienced steady growth, raising $1.5 million in pre-seed funding in February 2023 to enhance its logistics network. With a low wastage rate of 4%, the company sources produce directly from local farmers, ensuring a more sustainable supply chain. Its stores are now located in cities like Casablanca and Bouskoura, serving both B2B and B2C customers.
