Life imitated art at the oval as Ryan Preece drove the No. 41 Wonder Bread Ford Mustang Dark Horse for the second consecutive year. The car was painted to pay homage to the Wonder Bread racecar driven by Will Ferrell’s character, “Ricky Bobby,” in the 2006 cult classic comedy based at Talladega. Tune in to NBC 2 p.m. EDT on Sunday to watch the race and catch a glimpse of the iconic Wonder hot air balloon at turn four!

Yesterday, Flowers volunteers climbed more than 110 stories at Thomasville’s annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in honor of first responders lost on Sept. 11, 2001. The event benefits the Thomasville Firefighters' Association and Tunnels to Towers, a national organization established to support families of those who lost loved ones on Sept. 11. Tunnels to Towers works to pay off the mortgages of first responders killed in the line of duty – or to 9/11 related illness – and leave behind young children. #patriotday #neverforget
