Treatment and healing options are often fragmented, hard to gauge how they inform and complement. The Ecosystem is an attempt to break down where each of these modalities and practices meet and how they relate to each other. I write, rewrite, and send and resend to various email lists It's tedious and somewhat frustrating I get ignored A LOT I've gotten a couple of responses that have a pinch of venom in them - as if an outreach email is anyone's biggest struggle in life? --- I'm polite I'm articulate I'm ... myself An honest dude whose purpose in life is discovering all that he can about our collective mental health And who spends his days trying his darnedest to be creative and help this field grow and evolve I have nothing to hide - so I cold email But I truly don't consider them 'cold' I tailor my audience I filter Psychology Today and therapist directories to make sure my message will land decently with them 👉 Trauma-Informed Care providers They want a voice and they want to be heard So I speak TO them And allow the space for them to respond I lead with value, connection, and the (capital T) TRUST that if we're meant to work together .... we will And if we're not, that's beautiful too 🙌 --- This is me waiting for my caffeine on a Friday ☕ --- ✨ When your outreach strategy starts with authenticity, it will never be "cold" ✨
