Meet Dr. Andrew Ropicki, an assistant professor for the UF/IFAS Food and Resource Economics Department and Florida Sea Grant Marine Economics Specialist. Andrew provides educational programming, decision support tools, and applied research results concerning marine economics to various marine stakeholder groups in Florida.🐟 📈 “The most fun parts of the job for me are the fascinating people I get to work with and the interesting projects I get to work on. As a marine economist, I work extensively with commercial fishers and fish farmers examining issues important to them and their industries. I also get to work on a diverse array of research projects with researchers from many different fields.
