Our very own Maria de Sagrario Iglesias, an employee for over 35 years, has been named the winner of the inaugural Grow the Good Farmworker of the Year Award, presented by The Packer and the Equitable Food Initiative! Recently, she brought her award back home and was celebrated by coworkers at FirstFruits Farms! In true spirit of the competition, she spent her special day serving others, a quality that makes Maria de Sagrario the special person she is — a true servant leader, someone who always seeks to make sure people are loved and cared for.
