Who is Chris Dziados? Iraq combat veteran, retired Army major, former Pentagon policy analyst, and proud Democrat. Chris is running for Pennsylvania’s 14th Congressional district. He’ll protect women’s healthcare freedom, support policies that foster union jobs and family-sustaining wages, and improve services for our veterans. He will put the people in the district first, acting as a true representative who’ll work hard every day. Today the Center for Media Innovation at Point Park University and the Next Generation Newsroom (https://lnkd.in/eTzWm44K) is hosting Newsapalooza, a series of interactive events featuring local newsmakers, journalists, and esteemed public to celebrate the value of local journalism and the Pittsburgh story through culture, government, sports, community and more. We were honored with the assignment to create the Next Generation Newsroom website for Point Park University. We launched the site last spring and just completed Phase II updates this week in advance of Newsapalooza.
