Ever experienced being so hungry you start to get angry? For food insecure children this “hanger” feeling is one they experience frequently. Imagine being a child and hangry, feeling mad, or upset, because you have not eaten and not being able to go home and fix that empty belly. Our snack packs are more than food; they are a way to keep kids happy, healthy, and able to focus on life instead of their empty bellies. Feed New Mexico Kids provides over 7,000 weekend snack packs for food-insecure children, who often go hungry outside of school hours.
