Today, HUD will begin the process of updating its Multifamily Asset Management and Project Servicing Handbook. Last updated in 1992, the handbook is the comprehensive guide for the management of HUD-assisted properties and projects. The first chapter is now available for public feedback through November 18, 2024. Once the review process is completed, the handbook will provide property owners and management with the latest tools they need to better serve individuals and families who rely on multifamily rental assistance programs for a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home.
