In 2024, Fantastic Pixel Castle will be hiring some artists! First among these, we are looking for a principal-level technical artist that specializes in procedural content generation for our fantasy MMO, code-named Ghost. One of our major features involves having randomly generated maps for some of our zones, but we care much more about beautiful worlds that are fun to explore than we do about limitless variety. Later this year, we will also be looking for experienced animators, environmental artists, VFX and environmental concept art. Our studio is fully remote. We emphasize supporting each other, partnering with players, and having fun while we make games. We are fully funded. Feel free to reach out to me or our art director, David Kubalak

Earlier this month, I had the awesome opportunity to interview Greg Street, former designer of Age of Empires, World of Warcraft, and League of Legends, about his new studio (Fantastic Pixel Castle) and their debut game, the MMORPG codenamed Ghost.
