FamilyMatters provides free, personalized support to families in times of crisis or challenging life transitions.
About us
FamilyMatters, a JAFCO Support Network, offers specialized case management and support services to assist families in times of crisis in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. We serve families who are facing the impact of trauma and challenges such as mental health and substance abuse issues, divorce and custody issues, single parenthood, grandparent or other relative caregivers, and raising children with developmental disabilities or other special needs. As an expansion of JAFCO (Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options), we are proud to be bringing our two decades of private foster care, adoption, and family strengthening experience to FamilyMatters. Our goal is to use our expertise in child welfare to work in collaboration with existing local agencies to provide an immediate, comprehensive, and cost-free response to a family in crisis while creating an additional safety net for children who are at risk of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
