Making things happen... Follow the link and enter your email to read Family First CEO Evan Falchuk's interview with Aaron Weitzman of Axios.
I'm thrilled to announce this transaction, which is going to do so much to enhance Family First's leave programs. The thousands of pages of expert content, self-help tools, videos, strategies and other educational material we just acquired will be enormously impactful for the parents we serve and the companies where they work. We're already driving a 22% reduction in leave. Some say M&A isn't happening because people are waiting for a change in the market. I say there's a tremendous opportunity to be aggressive and make things happen.

At a time when 70% of American workers are juggling caregiving responsibilities alongside their jobs, companies must prioritize supportive policies to combat caregiver burnout. Despite the increasing strain on employees, few organizations offer adequate support, leading to higher stress and potential attrition. Implementing dedicated caregiver support is a crucial steps for companies to retain talent and foster a healthier, more inclusive work environment. But don’t just take our word for it — check out Stephanie Creary's insightful article in Knowledge at Wharton for more details.

Did you know caregiver-centered care has been proven to positively influence patient outcomes? For example, Weinberg et al. found that when caregivers felt more prepared, their loved ones experienced decreased pain and improved functional and mental health. Additionally, Rodakowski et al. discovered that involving caregivers in discharge planning reduces 90-day readmission risk by 25%, potentially saving $3B in Medicare spending annually. Investing in caregiver support isn't just compassionate—it's smart healthcare. #CaregiverSupport #HealthcareInnovation #PatientOutcomes
