Yesterday, we honored Cheryl Taylor, our incredible Psych Technician, who has dedicated her career to making a difference in the lives of so many. For the past 26 years, Cheryl has been a beacon of hope and compassion here at Fairmount. As she officially retires, we present her with this engraved plaque: “The Legend Has Officially Retired. Be proud of the work you have done. Never forget the difference you have made, and the lives you have touched! Enjoy the next chapter!” Thank you, Cheryl, for your unwavering commitment and love. You will be deeply missed. Happy retirement!

We are excited to welcome our new Director of Plant Operations, Brian Simon, to the Fairmount team! Brian brings a wealth of experience in facility operations and maintenance to our team. We are happy to have you with us, Brian!

We recently celebrated Carlos, who dedicated 17 remarkable years to Fairmount Behavioral Health! His commitment and passion have made a lasting impact on our team and the lives of those we serve. As Carlos embarks on this new chapter of retirement, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable contributions and the positive energy he brought to our workplace.

Fairmount Behavioral Health celebrates our IT MVPs! We are so grateful for Tom and Thinh, who kept Fairmount up and running last week when the world faced computer challenges. Here at Fairmount, we were able to continue to provide the best care, treatment, and services to our patients because of the talented IT team! Yesterday, our COO, Mary, went around and gave treats to the staff including baskets for first shift and ice cream for second and third shifts. With yesterday being the MLB all-star game, the theme was highlighting the all-star staff! The treats also included a note from Mary, “I am thrilled to have joined this all-star team at Fairmount Behavioral Health. Your dedication and expertise in providing exceptional patient care is truly inspiring. I look forward to working alongside each of you as we continue to care for the individuals of Philadelphia with compassion and excellence.”
