It has been a long time since I was involved in a panel prep session where participants willingly spent an extra hour in conversation because the collective wisdom was so compelling. One of my favorite concepts was about comparison and how struggle is not objectively measurable. Like Brené Brown said, comparison is "the crush of conformity from one side and competition from the other—it’s trying to simultaneously fit in and stand out".

A few FAQs:
1. There is wifi and a lot of space to take calls/Zooms so if you need to work remotely during part of the day, that is an option.
2. The event is for anyone that wants to be more connected to the motherhood concept. While some of the programming might gear more toward a particular phase of life, there will be opportunity for break-out learning for every niche. We have found that motherhood is a source of real deviation from expectation for everyone (e.g. finding yourself in unanticipated situations like you are a mother or child receiving a diagnosis of illness, not having the relationship you want with your mother, not being the mother you envisioned, grief related to your mother, etc.). There is a lot to learn from the realization that our experience is so unique, and also so shared.
3. The event is not-for-profit. There is a back-to-school promo rate until Labor Day with code: SCHOOLSUPPLIES
