We are delighted to be hosting our first 'evoke the stars' gala evening! ✨ We are super proud to be partnering with the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, who have been nominated by our evoke colleagues to benefit from the event. This amazing charity provides care to people living with MND, and funds vital research into what is a cruel, debilitating and incurable disease. The gala will be taking place on Thursday 14 November at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. The event will feature a gala dinner, entertainment, and lots of fundraising activities to support the MND Association. It promises to be a special evening, supported with the attendance of some of our evoke ambassadors, including Sir AP McCoy and Jason Bell. This is a first of its kind event for evoke as a new business, and an important part of our commitment to supporting charities and communities across all our locations. We are celebrating a huge milestone for our Talent team and leaders, as our 50th group of colleagues have completed their Leadership Diploma! The program which was first launched back in 2017 has evolved over the years, thanks to the expertise of our Talent team Mikołaj Jucewicz Kużajak and Ola Jacukowicz, PhD 🧐. Mikolaj said: “We created a program to coach leaders and equip them with modern tools, to help them develop themselves and their teams. Over the last few years, we've delivered this program in nearly all locations of evoke – so far in the UK, Malta, Israel, Philippines, United States of America, Gibraltar, Ireland, Poland and Romania. Over 600 people have received their Diploma which really is a massive achievement. One of the main reasons we've been able to deliver so many programs is the engagement we've received from our amazing People Partners, who have helped us develop our leaders around the world - thank you all!” Ola said: “I’m super proud of this program. Over the many editions I’ve led, I’ve seen just how transformative it can be. I’ve watched leaders who might have felt a bit lost, needed to organize their knowledge, or just wanted more from their leadership journey, come out of the programme feeling inspired and motivated. They left with tools they could use right away to make an even bigger impact on their teams and the whole organization.” Huge congratulations to all of our wonderful graduates! 🎓

A major new study has found 1.5m Brits stake up to £4.3bn on the growing, unsafe, unregulated gambling black market each year. The report published today by leading consultants Frontier Economics and commissioned by standards body the Betting and Gaming Council, is the first major study on the black market since the publication of the previous Government’s White Paper on gambling reform. It found illegal operators are aggressively targeting UK customers, significantly undermining player protections, while sucking millions from sport and the Treasury.
