Patients First is the core value behind everything we do. For us, we think of patients as members of our family who come first in every decision. Patients are why we exist, and our commitment to them is unwavering. This commitment is no better exemplified than by the recipients of our Patients First Core Value Award. Please join us in celebrating and honoring the most recent winners of this award - Lindsey Lange and Shannon Dudasik. Thank you Lindsey and Shannon - we couldn't provide best-in-class care with out you both.

This patient testimonial, from John at Michelin, continues to say - "It was so helpful to have a real person that I could meet with to have a restorative relationship on my health recovery journey. You helped me access the resources and talked through options to develop a plan, and provided a skilled sounding board for ideas that would make positive changes in my health. Without any doubt, you and the program have been so beneficial to my overall health improvement." First and foremost, thank you to the care team at our Michelin health center who provide such excellent care to our patients! This specific testimonial was written to one of nurses, Angela White, who demonstrates a Patients First attitude day in and day out. Thank you for all you do, Angela! It is our mission to empower more and more of our patients to live their healthiest lives. We are fortunate enough to hear stories everyday about how our care teams do just that. It was an honor to host the Executive Vice President of External Affairs for the Obama Foundation and Everside Board Member, Michael Strautmanis, for a conversation about social determinants of health, fostering empathy, accessible health care, and more. During the discussion, Michael and Everside Regional Medical Director Kelly O'Malia, MD covered the importance of eliminating bias, creating safe spaces, fostering open dialogues (in and outside of our care centers), and the power of seeing yourself in someone else.   In his closing remarks, Michael discussed the hard, but critical, work that caregivers undertake. And how this work – the care we provide every day to our patients and clients – is the perfect combination of doing well and doing good. And when we can do both those things, the world becomes a better place.   Thank you, Michael, for the inspiring, motivating, and thought-provoking discussion. It was an important reminder of what we’ve already accomplished, and how much more is left to do!
