Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of one of the most pivotal moments in financial equality, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. This landmark law broke down barriers to credit access. By prohibiting discrimination, the ECOA paved the way for greater financial inclusion and economic mobility. However, the work isn't finished.
