Thank you to San Diego State University Panhellenic for having me as your 2024 PNM Orientation Keynote Speaker. I've loved all of the kind messages that I've received from those in attendance last night. Success in recruitment will look different for everyone. Some will walk away with a bid on Bid Day, others will choose to discontinue the process along the way, and some will experience disappointment because they will not receive the response they desire from chapters. What is most important in all of this is that you remain true to yourself and that you love yourself through it all. #1 Be unapologetically you. #2 Value experience over hearsay. #3 Set yourself up for joy and care. #4 Control who you can control. Because of my nontraditional path to Panhellenic membership, I have a deep belief that what is for you will not pass you. I've worked with sororities for almost 19 years and I've seen it all and heard it all when it comes to recruitment. It tends to work out the way it's supposed to. Remember, you are worthy of authentic and inclusive sisterhood. You are the prize! #sorority #Panhellenic #sisterhood #recruitment #collegespeaker #university

I had the privilege of meeting her at this year's Choice Summit and knew right away that she was someone who was going to only pour truth, goodness, and fun into my life. Thankfully, she asked me to join her for the latest episode, "Harnessing Our Unique Strengths". Add Heart of the Story to your playlist. My episode is linked in the comments.

What's that Taylor Swift t-shirt? "A Lot Going On At The Moment" Yes. FELT! The blessing is that I'm pleasantly overwhelmed, genuinely excited, and beyond grateful for ALL of it. LFG! ______________________________________________________________ Thank you to the The Junior League for inviting me to kick off Empower Hour, our new personal development series, with my session, "Community, Connection, and Growth: The Value of Using Technology to Build Your Network." Shortened Session Description: "There’s no longer six degrees between you and Kevin Bacon or anyone else that you want to connect with in the world. Technology has made our small world even smaller and it’s imperative to learn how to use the platforms that exist in the palm of your hand to build your network... In this session, participants will learn tips and strategies that will help them build their network from the comfort of their screens. We’ll discuss building an online presence, popular platforms, the art of connection, and the importance of consistently tending to your network." As a Past President of the Junior League of Nashville and current Sustainer, I am always honored to spend time with fellow members of the League. If you are a Member of ANY Junior League in the world, you are invited to learn more and register (use the link below or from the email you were sent this morning) for this virtual event taking place on September 25th from 12:00 pm-1:00pm ET. https://lnkd.in/eYxnaX-A

What's your Top 5? 1. Maximizer 2. Input 3. Relator 4. Focus 5. Significance Any surprises? I've served as a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach since 2018 and Equip To Thrive values the opportunity to host CliftonStrengths educational sessions, 1:1 and team coaching. Self-Awareness is EVERYTHING in leadership. This is one tool that can help you develop an understanding of what you're naturally good at and how you can use that to achieve excellence. Invest in you and using more of what you do well. Imagine if every member on your team had this clarity, that you all have a deeper understanding of each other, and you worked together to create an environment where all of you have the opportunity to thrive. What if on more days than not, people were able to work within their Strengths Zone and were valued and celebrated for doing so? Thank you to NBOA: Business Leadership for Independent Schools, Diverse Learners Cooperative, and Vanderbilt University School of Nursing's Academy for Diverse Aspiring Nurse Leaders for inviting Equip To Thrive to share CliftonStrengths with you. Interested in learning more? Send me a message. #cliftonstrengths #equiptothrive #facilitator #speaker #professionaldevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #strengths

ELEVATE was this year's theme for the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP). AISAP is the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals.  Annual Institute took place in Salt Lake City, Utah and I am beyond honored to have served as a Cornerstone Speaker and a facilitator of yesterday's Cohort Activity. Talented and Imperfect Wins the Race: The Importance of Embracing Your Strengths as You Climb to New Heights Participant Takeaways:  - You have affirmed my thoughts in having an unwavering belief in self. Thank you. - This is obvious but the idea of being talented and imperfect really resonates with me. -To remember to take time for reflection in the midst of constantly doing the daily work. Thank you to the AISAP Team especially Executive Director Janice Crampton and Inez Robinson-Odom who were both a joy to work with in preparation for this event. A fantastically engaged group of professionals who I know will elevate themselves and all of those who cross their path. #speaker #talentedandimperfect #humanresources #studentaffairs #nonprofit #professionaldevelopment

📣 Allow me to RE/introduce myself... 📣 👋 Hi everyone! I’m Krystal N. Clark, the Founder & CEO of Equip To Thrive, LLC. 🏡 I hail from Portsmouth, Virginia (757) and have called Nashville, TN my home away from home for the past 13 years. 🌟 With a rich background in Student Affairs, Human Resources, and Nonprofit Leadership, I’ve dedicated my life to equipping others. Why Equip To Thrive? Because that’s my mission. At my core, I'm an educator, passionate about equipping you with the tools you need to thrive in this world. You define what it means to thrive, and I help you make it happen. Who do I help to thrive? I've had the privilege of working with nonprofit organizations, colleges/universities, faith-based institutions, fitness professionals, attorneys, small businesses, professional organizations, an Inc. 5000 company, a Fortune 100 company, individual contributors, teams, executive boards, and more. How do I equip others to thrive? Through keynotes, facilitated discussions, CliftonStrengths, 1:1/team coaching, workshops, consultation, panelist roles, brand ambassadorship, and content creation. My style? I’ve been called a “warm demander.” I believe in you and have high expectations. I add humor and honesty to every interaction. 🌱 Ready to thrive? Let’s equip you with the tools for success! #EquipToThrive #Leadership #Coaching #NonprofitLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #Speaker

As part of the work of Equip To Thrive, I get to work with National Panhellenic Conference member organizations on a local chapter and inter/national level. For many of these groups, I have had the opportunity to serve as a facilitator for their internally designed curriculum. This is about giving voice to and creating space for mission-driven and values-based conversations. An adept facilitator will make the pages come to life and it's one of my absolute favorite ways to serve others. Looking forward to serving as a facilitator for Tri Delta's inaugural Growth Summit this weekend. Sororities, much like workplaces, must engage in intentional growth. Both are or should be mission- driven, people-based, and people-focused (employees and members), requiring strategic efforts to thrive. At the summit, we'll delve into marketing, public relations, philanthropy, DEIAB, membership selection, and engaging current members in the growth process. We'll explore current trends within the college student demographic and discuss implications for attracting and retaining members. This conversation parallels many concepts applicable to the workplace. Recruiting talent (new members), increasing employee engagement (engagement of members), and enhancing culture are essential for both sororities and businesses. Both must engage internal and external stakeholders to maintain relevance and foster growth. Thank you to Tri Delta for having me! #equiptothrive #facilitation #sorority #panhellenic #recruitment #college #university
