Dear Embracing Equity Community, Today marks the end of one of the most consequential elections of our lifetimes. As we prepare to cast our ballots—or reflect on our votes already cast—I want to take a moment to recognize the power of our collective voice and the values we share. Whether you’re knocking on doors, phone-banking, or simply holding space for the moment, know that Embracing Equity stands with you. In a world that can feel uncertain, one thing remains constant: our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. I’m driven by our mission to build a more just and inclusive world for our children, including my own 4-year-old daughter cheering above for our potential first female, Black and Asian-American President. What brings me hope regardless of the outcome, is this community. We are built on a shared vision that transcends any single event or outcome, and we’ll continue pushing forward, advancing equity in our institutions, classrooms, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
