We were honored to welcome Zlata Holušová, Director of Colours of Ostrava, to one of our demonstration sites in Sri Lanka's Central Province. Lilan Dayananda, our CEO, first met Zlata (introduced by Yemi A.D.) during the Moonshot Platform’s Young Leaders Program in Czechia. IESC - Improving Economies for Stronger Communities (formerly International Executive Service Corps) is a non-profit organization that has been operating for 60 years, focusing on implementing projects for USAID and USDA that promote private sector growth and create economic opportunities for communities in developing countries. IESC's mission is to foster agricultural development by facilitating access to essential resources like information, technology, and markets. Their programs aim to address various challenges within food systems, strengthen inclusive market systems, promote sustainable natural resource management, and enhance agricultural production to meet market demand. This week, ELZIAN AGRO had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Addison (Senior Manager for Agriculture-led Growth at IESC), to discuss ELZIAN AGRO 's efforts in developing climate-smart, data-driven precision agriculture solutions as a youth-driven social enterprise. Our solutions aim to empower agriculture and support marginalized small-scale farmers.
