There is a growing demand for #BESS to support the UK’s transition to #NetZero. As the UK decarbonises, #RenewableEnergy will be our primary source of electricity. But renewables can be intermittent… Battery storage will allow the UK to access clean energy when the sun isn’t shining, and the wind isn’t blowing ⚡ EIG

Last week, we hosted our 2024 Annual Partners’ Conference in Washington, DC, bringing together over 300 attendees to explore the theme “Fact, Fiction, and the Future of Energy.” This year’s discussions focused on separating the myths from the realities in the energy sector and addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities shaping the global energy landscape. Key executives from across the firm shared their insights, and we took a closer look at several of our portfolio companies, including highlighting their potential contributions to the future of energy. The conference provided a platform to engage in critical dialogue about our views of how innovation, policy, and market dynamics are driving the transition to a more sustainable energy future. Thank you to all who contributed to the success of this event! #EIG2024 #FutureOfEnergy #EnergyTransition #InnovationInEnergy
