🚆 Celebrating the Future of Rail Baltica 🚆
Yesterday marked a significant milestone in the Rail Baltica project, celebrated at a grand #ceremony held at the Latvijas Nacionālā bibliotēka / National Library of Latvia.
This event was graced by numerous political figures such as Kaspars Briškens, Latvian Minister of Transport, Franck Riester our French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, Catherine Trautmann, European Coordinator for the North Sea-Baltic TEN-T Corridor, Aurélie Royet-Gounin, French Ambassador to Latvia, Arvils Aseradens, Latvian Minister of Finance, Alessandro Monti, Italian Ambassador to Latvia or Grzegorz Jagielski, Polish Embassy Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs
These leaders represented the key companies of the ERB Rail JV PS: Eiffage Génie Civil (France), Budimex (Poland), and Rizzani de Eccher (Italy).
The ceremony was not only a celebration of the progress of the Rail Baltica high-speed line, which will span across the Baltic countries with a 230km section handled by the JV ERB Rail JV PS, but also an occasion for stakeholders, CEOs, such as ours CEOs Guillaume Sauvé and Olivier de Guinaumont who attended especially for the occasion, and teams to come together.
🤝A unique time capsule, containing message for the future authenticated by 18 signatories and symbolic objects, will be buried at the site to commemorate this collaborative effort and to send a message to future generations.
The presence of Franck Riester, Catherine Trautmann, and Aurélie Royet-Gounin is a testament to the strong support and commitment from France towards this transformative project.
This event underscores the dedication and #collaboration of multiple nations and companies towards #building a more #connected and prosperous future. A warm thanks to all the people who contributed and will contribute to the success of this project.
