Arizona’s future is tied to the success of Hispanic students, who make up nearly half of our K-12 population. When Latino students succeed, Arizona succeeds. As we celebrate #HispanicHeritageMonth, let’s recognize that empowering students through education is essential to driving innovation, workforce readiness, and community growth in our state. #AZWorkforce #EverythingToGain #Achieve60AZ

Time and again Arizonans are giving our leaders a very clear mandate - it's time to act to increase enrollment and completion of education and training after high school. 🎓 According to the latest Arizona Voters' Agenda survey by the Center for the Future of Arizona, voters across the political spectrum overwhelmingly support increasing postsecondary attainment and state investment in higher education. This data almost exactly matches a poll our organization conducted earlier this year. According to the Arizona Voters' Agenda: ✅ 85% of voters agree that Arizona needs to boost the number of students pursuing education or training beyond high school. ✅ 79% support prioritizing state investments in public universities and community colleges. ✅ 77% favor increasing need-based financial aid to encourage more students to enroll. Arizona voters recognize that a highly educated and skilled population is vital for our state's long-term success. By reaching the #Achieve60AZ goal—ensuring 60% of Arizonans complete education or training beyond high school—Arizona stands to gain billions of dollars. In a time where broad consensus seems harder to achieve than ever, this second set of data showing a mandate for action cannot be ignored. 85 percent of Arizona voters support increasing the number of students who pursue and complete education or training beyond high school. Voters across the aisle also agree on a number of policy measures to address this aspiration. Currently, less than half of Arizona students enroll in any form of post-secondary education after high school, and improving this reality has been a priority for Arizonans across many surveys over the years.
