We are excited to expand our Accounting Department and are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. If you have a strong background in accounting, especially in a manufacturing environment, this could be the perfect role for you! Position: Senior Accountant 📍 Location: Burlington Plant 💼 Key Responsibilities: 🟠 Variance analysis, control, and costing 🟠 Sales, Use, and Payroll tax management 🟠Internal and divisional reporting 🟠General ledger account maintenance and reconciliation in compliance with GAAP 🟠Contributing to the year-end audit process 🟠Assisting with system enhancements and implementations 🟠Mentoring junior accountants 🟠Acting as a backup for other senior accountants 📚 Education, Experience, and Skills Required: 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (accredited program) 📊 Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment 🧮 Inventory experience is helpful but not required 📅 Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail 💻 Intermediate Excel skills, Accounts Receivable/Payables, and experience with Microsoft Dynamic GP preferred 🤝 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify discrepancies and make recommendations 🗣 Excellent interpersonal communication skills 🚀 Self-driven, organized, analytical, and a fast learner If you’re passionate about accounting and eager to mentor the next generation of accountants while working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
