Last week we launched an important campaign. Every campaign is important but this one is especially so, as its goal is to stop the upward trend of fentanyl overdoses. Factoid: Opioid overdoses are now the leading cause of death for Californians between the ages of 25-54. As you can imagine, our team and partners were all-in from day one. And throughout the entire process people volunteered their personal stories about being affected by the fentanyl crisis. Some of them witnessed overdoses, some of them lost people, or knew friends who did. As shared by CD, Jessea Perry Hankins, "for us, this reinforced and humanized the statistics. We knew the overdose epidemic was vast, but this really brought it home.” So when the assignment is to stop more overdose deaths from happening, how do you tackle this overwhelming challenge? We decided to lift the veil. Instead of treating fentanyl like a big scary monster, we made it seem like an obnoxious party crasher. Full campaign rolling out throughout California. It was late summer 1997 when Robert Duncan and Parker Channon opened the doors in San Rafael to welcome Anne Elisco-Lemme, and she’s been stirring the pot and making trouble ever since. Anne is a force of nature. She's impacted the agency, our clients, colleagues and partners in bigger and deeper ways than you’d believe… unless you know her. And in that case you already know. Well she finally quit. For real this time. As of 5:00 PST (let’s just say 5:00), she’s…retiring??
