DTR Consulting Services, Inc. is actively hiring Building Envelope Consultants/Field Technicians Our Building Science division is always looking for great talent especially people who enjoy learning and solving problems. Building technology is the application of engineering principles, physics, and materials science to the exterior six sides of buildings to make them durable, energy-efficient, and able to reliably resist water infiltration when constructed properly. Our Building Enclosure Field Technicians/Consultants perform a variety of site observations and limited inspections on both new construction and existing buildings. The role of our Field staff is to conduct site visits, conduct and/or oversee system installations, and provide reports of the fieldwork completed including non-compliant items. Building Enclosure Field Staff will work with the project team to ensure that the client's goals or objectives of the project are achieved on time and within budget, all while providing great client service. Shotcrete is an innovation … an imperfect innovation. Quality installation of shotcrete can be completed due to velocity at the nozzle, rebounds, voids behind reinforcing bar, wetness/dryness of the mix, and numerous other issues that can arise.
