A farmer grounds an agricultural spraying drone with a long stick. The land-owner had allegedly warned the operator to stop flying over his land whilst it flew between neighbouring farms. Taking a C-UAS action against the system, the drone veers towards him almost colliding with the individual. The drone appears to be spraying liquids before the strike occurs. #uas #cuas #counterdrone

Drones drop flammable payloads to burn through anti-drone nets. In a cat-and-mouse approach to evading counter-measures, UAS prison delivery groups have dropped packages through a hole in the protective netting. Staff from Mountjoy Prison in Dublin allege the flame-retardant packaging is set alight, allowing it to burn through the netting, whilst keeping the contents safe from damage. Appearing to re-use the hole for multiple targeted UAS deliveries, staff were able to recover the following contraband from UAS deliveries: - Knuckle dusters, flick knives, razor blades - Heroin, cannabis and pills - Android, Apple and miniature smart phones Actors consistently assess their counter-counter measures against the latest equipment and technologies. Facilities need to track the latest adversary TTPs to stay one step ahead. #uas #cuas #counterdrone #antidrone #prison

A fish captures a drone in China, where a man was using the system in an attempt to lure fish. The water-logged system was eventually recovered. The system involved did not appear to be a dedicated fishing drone. Fishing drones, such as the SwellPro and Gannet series, are commonly used by prison delivery groups due to their ability to both withstand rain and deliver precise, repeated contraband drops, due to their bait-dropping features and payload balancing capabilities. #uas #cuas #counterdrone #fishingdrone #drone

A 10-year old boy was allegedly killed in El Plateado, Colombia after a quadcopter dropped an improvised explosive on a children's soccer match. Six others were also injured at the time in what is suggested as a reprisal attack by FARC forces due to the town refusing to house cartel narcotics operations. The use of air-dropped improvised munitions has seen a rapid uptick in Colombia in recent months, with inter-cartel fighting and attacks against army forces and infrastructure. #uas #uav #cuas #colombia

In Hulunbuir Mongolia, a horse archer shot down a drone with an arrow after repeated requests by the equestrian show to land were ignored. Other examples of low-cost, readily-available countermeasures used by civilians to down nearby drones have included slingshots, rocks, bottles, kites, microphone-stands, other drones and even hand-held consumer lasers. #drone #mitigation #uas #uav #mongolia
