🚨 Important Update! 🚨 The Learning Forward South Carolina Annual Conference, originally scheduled for October 16, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the Richland 2 Institute of Innovation (R2i2) in Columbia, SC. Thanks to the cooperation of Gerry Brooks, the presenting schools, and Richland 2 School District, we’re excited to bring you the same inspiring program. This reschedule allows schools to focus on recovery efforts and supporting their communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. All current registrations will transfer to the new date. On 9/11/01, I stood before my third grade class not knowing what tomorrow would bring. I was certain my students would grow up in a world none of us had ever known. In the midst of the 9/11 attacks, I could see hope in my students' eyes. Today they are making the world a better place and I’m so proud of all they have become. Even when our world is broken and dark, there is hope. In the weeks that followed, my students wrote letters to first responders and raised funds for relief efforts. May we all remember this day and be a light for others. I will never forget. #NeverForget911
