We are living in an era of transformation on all fronts. To build a healthy society, it's more crucial than ever to be digitally inclusive, ensuring that everyone is involved in and benefits from digital progress.   At the DQ Institute, we understand the urgency and the need to unite all decision-makers—from government authorities to think tanks to individuals. It's time to move beyond discussing the importance of a digital society and develop concrete solutions that will make a meaningful impact, especially for senior citizens, people with disabilities, and children.   It was great to meet up with everyone last week at ATxSG. Last week at the Sync Summit 2024, discussion was heated up around confronting the digital paradox. The time has come!   We're thrilled to announce the official launch of the "Living Well Digitally Powered by DQ” initiative by the NUS Centre for Trusted Internet and Community (CTIC) in collaboration with the DQ Institute!  🎉   "Living Well Digitally Powered by DQ" aims to educate, engage, and empower individuals worldwide with the knowledge and tools to navigate the complexities of the digital world, fostering a more balanced and informed digital lifestyle. The initiative is the result of the meticulous work of a team of researchers from NUS-CTIC and the DQ Institute, which took over two years!   To celebrate the public launch of the “Living Well Digitally Powered by DQ” initiative, CTIC organized an official launch event at NUS for stakeholders from governmental ministries and organizations including the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), social service agencies such as TOUCH Community Services, and leading tech companies like Meta and ByteDance (TikTok).   During the event, a keynote address was delivered by Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Health & Ministry of Law, and representatives from NUS-CTIC and MCI.   Mdm Rahayu Mahzam said that, “We hope that this toolkit will add the range of resources under the Digital for Life movement to educate, engage and empower Singaporeans to strengthen their digital wellbeing and resilience.”   Dr. Yuhyun Park, founder of the DQ Institute, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the initiative's potential to empower communities and navigate the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.   And here is how you can benefit from this initiative: Explore your digital wellbeing here! https://lnkd.in/dXH2Cf-b  #LivingWellDigitally #DigitalWellbeing #NUSCTIC #DQInstitute #PoweredbyDQ
