Our client, a leading grocery store chain, obtained summary judgment in a lawsuit brought by a former employee. The plaintiff alleged injury from tripping on a pallet of produce, claiming it was an unreasonably dangerous condition that our client should have warned about or removed. However, our team effectively argued otherwise: 1️⃣ The pallet wasn't unreasonably dangerous. 2️⃣ It was an open and obvious condition, not requiring a warning. 3️⃣ Plaintiff had actual notice of the pallet's presence, passing it daily in the same location. The court sided with our arguments, granting the motion for summary judgment and dismissing the case entirely!
