Our business has grown and we're looking to recruit a diligent Transport Co-Ordinator to support our Transport Manager! 🚚 Focussing predominantly on legal compliance, responsibilities include: • Management of drivers’ hours and O Licence requirements. • Ensuring legal compliance across the fleet including scheduling of services and liaising with service providers. • Actioning any repairs from the daily defect reports and recording them on the Defect Log. • Working with the despatch team to ensure that vehicles are loaded safely. • Assisting with managing, motivating, engaging and developing the Transport team as required. • Managing client relations and expectations. • Supporting in the implementation of transport strategies. • Assisting in the development of future distribution and transport networks. • Support the Transport Manager with Transport KPI’s The preferred candidate will have: • Experience of driver compliance, tacho data and working hours regulations. • Understanding of Operator’s Licence requirements and experience of dealing with an Operator’s Licence. • Knowledge of Transport planning and route scheduling. • A valid UK Driving Licence with no serious endorsements. Mark and Lucy reflected this week on their amazing achievement of climbing Kilimanjaro to raise money for mental health charity, Kelly's Heroes. ✨Lucy✨ “Kilimanjaro for me was the best and most exciting trip that I ever could’ve dreamed of! Without DoorCo, I never would have had the chance to experience Kili and for that, I am extremely grateful. Waking up every day, I felt so lucky and couldn’t have asked for a better team to walk beside and take on the challenges we faced. Summit night for me was the biggest challenge, with just 2 hours sleep the tiredness really started to set in and I was fighting to stay awake, but with the thought of the charity in the back of your mind, the drive determination of the rest of the team, we pushed through and managed to achieve our goal.” 🌟Mark🌟 “This has been one of the biggest challenges mentally and physically that I have ever had to deal with. People talk about bucket lists and challenges they would like to do in their life, this was definitely not one of mine. To have achieved this was above and beyond my expectations at the start, the team helped each other through difficult times, it feels surreal to have made it, but I had to push both my mental and physical strength to do it All of this fades in to insignificance when the reason for this challenge was to support a fantastic charity that works to prevent suicide. The money we have been able to raise has been phenomenal and this will allow the charity to help many more people in need. We would like to thank our generous industry, our friend and family for the generous donations throughout the challenge. For anyone like me, who is reluctant to take on challenges outside of their comfort zone, I would honestly now say "just do it.” You will build lifelong friendships with people you have just met and be able to talk about the experience for years to come” We’re so proud of our intrepid adventurers .
