About us

DonationXchange is an online platform to manage all corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Administering grants, sponsorships, in-kind and cash donations, volunteer hours, and employee giving has never been easier. We help donors give better without requiring them to give more. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has quickly become a top corporate priority, serving as an avenue to create impact across local and global communities, and as a means to increase competitive advantage and growth. CSR programs are shaping how companies interact with their own employees, neighbors, and even the global community at large. This is not merely a period of transformation, but one full of excitement and significance for CSR professionals and corporate legacies. As technology continues to evolve, it creates new opportunities for us to improve and grow our products, and offer the best and easiest ways for donors, charities, foundations, and corporations to engage with each other and foster a thriving philanthropic community.

They are committed to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment where all board members, staff, volunteers, individuals and communities served feel respected and valued regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation or identity, disability or education. For #PhilanthropyThursday we are highlighting CHARGE Syndrome Foundation, Inc. It all began in 1982 with a Deaf-Blind Project in the Division of Genetics, Department of Child Health, University of Missouri, Columbia. The primary participants in the Deaf-Blind Project were Dr. Joyce Mitchell (Medical Informatics), Dr. Sandra Davenport (Genetics and Developmental Pediatrics), Dr. James Thelin (Audiology), and Meg Hefner (Genetics). Their tireless and pioneering work subsequently led to the formation of the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation. During the three decades since, the Foundation has grown and now serves over 3,600 families and individuals with CHARGE syndrome. The CHARGE Syndrome Foundation is the largest organization in the world dedicated to serving families, individuals with CHARGE, and the professionals who work with them. The community has grown significantly in the past few years. Over 4,400 people receive the Foundation’s e-News with information about Foundation activities, research opportunities and other events. There are over 600 dedicated members of the Foundation and over 9,200 people connected to our support group. Alongside their small staff of 4, the Foundation is anchored by a Board of Directors and Advisors who each play a critical role in providing oversight, planning and development for the Foundation. Together, through outreach, programming, conference and research they work every day to make the world a better place for individuals with CHARGE syndrome. Rhodes Scholar | Founder & Executive Director, Black Girl Environmentalist I Forbes 30 Under 30

Did you know that August is Black Philanthropy Month aka a time to elevate Black giving and support funding equity for Black-led organizations and Black communities? Black Philanthropy Month is an annual month-long, global celebration of African-descent giving, created in August 2011 by Dr. Jackie “Bouvier” Copeland and the Pan-African Women’s Philanthropy Network. As the founder and Executive Director of a Black youth-led climate nonprofit, it’s important for me to highlight how this month connects to the larger climate movement. Black-led organizations play a critical role in Black communities and across the country yet continue to be under-resourced and underappreciated by philanthropy. As a demographic disproportionately impacted by the climate crisis yet systematically left out of climate leadership, it’s crucial that the next generation of Black climate leaders be well-positioned to lead on climate solutions - and sustainably doing this requires funding. Here are some Black-led climate organizations to follow and support: Black Girl Environmentalist Black In Marine Science, Non-Profit Organization Hip Hop Caucus Young, Gifted & Green™ Black In Environment Girl Plus Environment BlackOak Collective Know of other Black-led climate organizations doing good work? Tag them below 🙌🏾

For #TriviaTuesday we are highlighting FOREVER FORTUNATE FELINES 😺 Forever Fortunate Feline’s mission is to save cats from animal control facilities and give them the love and care they deserve in foster homes until they are healthy and ready for adoption! They currently work with animal control facilities in Iowa, Chicago, Indiana, and Kentucky and rescue cats in urgent need. FFF is a fully foster-based organization, which can be a large advantage, as the cats are not kept in cages. Cages can be stressful & have an impact on behavior and health. They additionally have the opportunity to socialize with other cats, dogs, and kids in the foster home! These cats truly become well-socialized and the foster parent learns all their behaviors and quirks that they can share with potential adopters before adoption, which makes a completely transparent adoption process. They pride themselves on open communication between foster parents, adopters, and screeners even after adoption! How many animals have been rescued since 2019? A) 3927 B) 3422 C) 5930 D) 6398 Find out the answer and learn more about this awesome organization here! https://lnkd.in/dTfZzAtP
