Recently, our Phoenix Regional Office hosted a Ladies Night, bringing together the incredible women from our office and Dominium's Allied Women's Network (DAWN). DAWN is dedicated to empowering women within Dominium by fostering connections, professional development and support through mentorship. The evening featured appetizers, drinks and a game of “Who in the Room?” It was a perfect opportunity to unwind, connect and enjoy each other's company. Happy Fri-Yay! We are already 92% leased on Aviara Flats and it just finished construction. Shout out to our leasing team at Dominium for the great work they did filling these new homes. 372 families in Phoenix will be able to call this beautiful new apartment community their home while saving over $5,000 per year on rent compared to market, which is nearly $2 million per year in rents savings combined. That $2 million means these families can better afford lifes necessities. New housing is economic development and helps keep rents constrained across all income levels. Rising tides lifts all boats.

Wednesday, August 21 was National Senior Citizens Day, a day dedicated to honoring the wisdom, strength and legacy of our older generations. At Dominium, we’re committed to creating communities where all residents, including our seniors, can thrive. When this special day came around, we made sure to celebrate it in a memorable way.  Our Regional Offices joined the celebration by assembling “Day Brightener Goodie Bags” for our local senior communities. These bags, filled with cheerful yellow items like snacks, a stress star, a card, and more, were designed to brighten their day and spread a little joy. Our teams personally delivered them to our communities, taking the opportunity to connect with residents on a personal level. The photos below capture the joyful moments of packing and delivering the bags – a unique opportunity for our employees from different departments to come together and support our residents. While every day is an opportunity to celebrate our residents, National Senior Citizen Day provided the perfect change to show our seniors just how much they are appreciated.
