In honor of Patriot Day, on Tuesday, September 11, our Phoenix Regional Office team joined a meaningful volunteer initiative with the 9/11 Day organization. As part of a nationwide effort, we helped pack 9 million meals to support individuals and families facing food insecurity, with distribution support from St. Mary's Food Bank and the United Food Bank. This event was a tribute to the memory of those lost on 9/11 and a celebration of the unity and compassion that emerged from that day. 9/11 Day, a nonprofit dedicated to keeping the promise to “Never Forget,” encourages acts of kindness and volunteerism to honor the legacy of those who perished or bravely responded to the attacks. We are excited to share the completion of The Promenade in McDonough, Georgia, a vibrant new community that provides 288 high-quality, affordable apartment homes for families in the Atlanta metro area. The Promenade consists of ten three-story walk-up buildings featuring a range of 1-,2-, and 3-bedroom apartments. Residents will enjoy a variety of amenities, including a clubroom, fitness center, arts and crafts room, computer center, outdoor patio, and swimming pool. Alongside Willow Place, Dominium’s neighboring community for seniors aged 55 and older, these developments will offer a total of 470 affordable apartment homes in the region. Recently, our Phoenix Regional Office hosted a Ladies Night, bringing together the incredible women from our office and Dominium's Allied Women's Network (DAWN). DAWN is dedicated to empowering women within Dominium by fostering connections, professional development and support through mentorship. Happy Fri-Yay! We are already 92% leased on Aviara Flats and it just finished construction. Shout out to our leasing team at Dominium for the great work they did filling these new homes. 372 families in Phoenix will be able to call this beautiful new apartment community their home while saving over $5,000 per year on rent compared to market, which is nearly $2 million per year in rents savings combined. That $2 million means these families can better afford lifes necessities. New housing is economic development and helps keep rents constrained across all income levels. Rising tides lifts all boats.
