The Santa Barbara County Chapter of the California Special Districts Association hosted their annual awards dinner and Dixon Resources Unlimited was selected as the 2023 Contractor of the Year. The evening was made special when the Isla Vista Community Services District General Manager Jonathan Abboud presented Emily Kwatinetz with this incredible recognition. This is a true milestone for the DIXON team because Isla Vista is where our founder Julie Dixon started her career as a parking enforcement officer over 30 years ago. This project is special to our team because we are able to give back to the location that started is all. We aren't finished yet, but we would like to thank the Isla Vista residents for their ongoing support, UCSB and the County of Santa Barbara for their project partnership and especially to the Isla Vista Community Services District for this nomination and recognition, but, more importantly, for caring so much about the Isla Vista community. #IVCSD #Contractoroftheyear #DIXON #IslaVistaMatters
