Our employee resource group, Celebrating Disability Across Philanthropy (CDAP), exists to create a safe space for disabled people working in philanthropy. Safe spaces for disabled people in philanthropy are important: only 7.7% of people with disabilities working in philanthropy feeling comfortable being open about their disabilities at work (Source: CHANGE Philanthropy). CDAP aims to foster an environment for shared learning, engagement, and support among people working in philanthropy who: 🔘 identify as disabled / a person with a disability / a person living with a chronic illness, and/or 🔘 seek to champion inclusion in the sector.
