Did you know: in 1966, DP’s first vocational program was founded in Englewood and Aurora! This program provided jobs and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by giving each participant a real work environment, commensurate wages, and comprehensive vocational services. Today, we continue to support individuals with disabilities by connecting them to valuable employment resources! Today is Women's Equality Day, established by the U.S. Congress in 1971 to commemorate the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920, which granted women the right to vote. Do you use Consumer-Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS) to direct and manage your care? The next due date for Financial Management Services (FMS) open enrollment paperwork is September 1, 2024! FMS open enrollment happens four times per year. During these times, a CDASS program member or their authorized representative can change FMS providers. If a member or authorized representative chooses to change providers, they must inform their Case Manager to start the process before the next paperwork due date.
