Just wrapped up an incredible week at the 75th Annual International Society of Electrochemistry meeting in Montreal! I had the privilege of presenting my research on ionogel polymer electrolytes and silicon electrodes. It was a fantastic opportunity to share my work with leading experts in the field and learn about the latest advancements in electrochemistry. I'm so grateful for the support of my supervisors, Institut des Matériaux de Nantes Jean Rouxel, Destiny PhD Programme MSCA COFUND and the organizers of this amazing event. A huge thank you to everyone I met for their valuable insights and inspiring conversations. #electrochemistry #research #ISE #Montreal #academia #ionogel #silicon #batterytechnology

From waste to energy! 🔋 A great milestone in this challenging Destiny PhD Programme MSCA COFUND topic was achieved with this first story that was published in Advanced Energy and Sustainability Research. What to do with spent wastewater adsorbents? Why not directly make a power device with that waste charged with heavy metals and achieve even higher capacities?! 💪🤘 A big thanks to my shared supervisors, dream team Thierry Brousse, Olivier Crosnier, and Patrik Johansson, for helping develop and support this unusual approach!! Go ahead and find out all the details by checking the publication! ;)

Thrilled to share that our research on ionogel electrolytes has been published in Energy & Environmental Materials! Last October, I had the opportunity to visit Deakin University in Melbourne, continuing a long-standing collaboration between Institut des Matériaux de Nantes Jean Rouxel and Deakin University. During my visit, I conducted PFG-NMR experiments to investigate ion diffusion in promising ionogel electrolytes. Our findings provide valuable insights into the potential of ionogels for next-generation lithium-ion battery applications. A big thanks to my supervisors (Dr. Nicolas Dupre & Prof. Jean Le Bideau) and hosts at Deakin (A/Prof. Luke O'dell, Prof. Patrick Howlett & Prof. Maria Forsyth) for their support and expertise. I would also like to acknowledge the IRN FACES (French-Australian International Research Network) funding for my trip to Australia and finally Destiny PhD Programme MSCA COFUND for funding the PhD. Check out our latest open-access paper, recently published in Small Structures! In this work, we utilized solid-state NMR to investigate the reactivity of PEO and Li6PS5Cl Argyrodites, identify the reaction products, and assess their impact on the interfacial Li-ion exchange. These insights are crucial for designing solid electrolytes in which polymers and argyrodites come into contact, both in bilayer systems and composite electrolytes. I am very proud to work with such an amazing team and especially grateful to have Prof. Michel Armand as an advisor on this project. A huge thank you to all the co-authors, CIC energiGUNE and Destiny PhD Programme MSCA COFUND for their contribution and support. https://lnkd.in/ehZvmRt2
