72 This is the number of our legal H2B visa employees that are going through the process to become a legal U.S. permanent resident through the Designscapes Colorado "STEP UP" Program. Since the program started in 2018, 12 employees have received residency and 4 are in the process of sponsoring their families to come to the United States. 10 new recipients were chosen this year. We were recently awarded the Gold Overall Safety Achievement Award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). The award, part of NALP’s annual Safety Recognition Awards Program honors companies with thorough, high-performing safety programs that create and maintain safe work environments in the lawn and landscape industry. Designscapes Colorado was evaluated on number of accidents, number of days that employees were away from work, and number of employee injuries and illnesses. In addition, a checklist was used to rate the company’s complete safety program. #award #workplacesafety #landscapecompany #jobsitesafety

Our Commercial team celebrated with Denver Parks and Recreation the long-awaited opening of Congress Park. Congress Park is a highly desired destination in its surrounding neighborhood due to its size and great location. Designscapes Colorado was the General Contractor and the park has been revamped with a new irrigation system, playground, shade shelter, and meets accessibility needs.
