“While in high school, I was selected to be a peer mentor in our special education classrooms. After having this hands-on experience with students with disabilities, I knew it was something that I wanted to make my career.” Meet Miranda Domiano, Kappa Chi - Youngstown State University, a 2024 Delta Zeta 35 Under 35 recipient and an Intervention Specialist for Girard City Schools. “Self-care and taking care of your physical and mental health are very important for overall well-being. As a young teacher, this was something that I had a very hard time with. I take a lot of work home with me. Whether that is physical work or mental work, such as constant worries and thoughts about my students. I have really tried to work on practicing gratitude by focusing on what I’m thankful for in my life.” Want to learn more about Miranda? Today, Delta Zeta remembers the 23rd anniversary of September 11, 2001—a day that forever altered countless lives and the course of history. Among the many who experienced profound loss, we remember with heavy hearts two of our own sisters: Alicia Titus (Alpha – Miami), a flight attendant on United Airlines Flight 175, and Melissa Vincent (Omicron Theta – SUNY/Oswego), who worked for Alliance Consulting Group on the 102nd Floor of the World Trade Center. Our thoughts are with their families and friends, both now and always. We honor the memory of all 2,996 individuals who lost their lives that day. We will never forget.

“The traffic safety world is a very small world. People move about it, but never really leave. The wonderful thing about this is the comradery that is created within our bubble.” Meet Kathryn Cardin Curtis, Pi Rho - University of West Georgia, a 2024 Delta Zeta 35 Under 35 recipient and a Public Affairs Specialist for AAA-The Auto Club Group “I started my work in the traffic safety field in 2017. At that time, nationally, there were 34,560 traffic fatalities that year; 1,540 of them were in my state of Georgia. My passion for my work was created by those numbers. Unfortunately, the trend continues to rise. The wonderful thing about what I do is fight to make that number smaller. Every one of those numbers has a story and opportunity to impact the public.” Want to learn more about Kathryn? “In the end, your students never cared if you were the perfect teacher. They cared that you showed up for them each day and that you gave them your best self, no matter if that meant your best self was 100 percent or not.” Meet Meisha Floyd Bordofske, Delta Phi - Northeastern State University, a 2024 Delta Zeta 35 Under 35 recipient and a High School English Teacher for Broken Arrow Public Schools. “I just knew that I wanted to help others. No one in my family had attended college, and I knew that no matter what I did, I wanted to find a profession that would allow me to help other kids do what no one else before them had. I grew up in a broken home, full of fear, trauma and pain, and the only reason I survived was because I had teachers who cared about me as a person far more than me as just a student.” Want to learn more about Meisha? “Our culture is full of comparisons. But, each of us are made differently. We are not the same. Instead, I empower others to honor the skills they have and utilize them where they go.” Meet Brittany Bing, Delta Beta - University of Tampa, a 2024 Delta Zeta 35 Under 35 recipient and the Learning and Development Content Designer for Microsoft. “I was a student orientation coordinator at my alma mater. I facilitated a training for 100 student volunteers and fell in love with it. I pursued my masters and moved cross country to Seattle to pursue my career. While I worked on my masters, I interned on the campus, presented at conferences and built connections with industry leaders.” Want to learn more about Brittany?
