The LUMINARIES Awards recognizes credit unions and credit union professionals for their various achievements and contributions to support and drive the industry forward. Delta Community received recognition in two categories of the 2024 LUMINARIES Awards: “Credit Union Executive Leadership – CEO” and “Community Impact – Credit Unions." The awards ceremony will take place on November 7.

More than 500 Cobb County high school students attended the Rising Professionals Summit on Thursday. Delta Community Credit Union representative William W. conducted two sessions with students titled “5 Essential Money Tips for Teenagers.” In addition, Delta Community employees worked a table at the event to promote the credit union’s programs and services. The purpose of the summit is to provide students with quick financial tips to help prepare for their future, including budgeting, saving, understanding banking services and using credit wisely. This informative workshop is designed specifically to assist teens to become financially independent.
