On March 8, 1940, eight Delta Air Lines employees with just $45 in capital founded the Delta Employees Credit Union. They chose to operate as a not-for-profit cooperative and wanted to help their peers achieve financial success. We have become Georgia’s largest credit union with more than 500,000 members, 32 branches and provide access to a nationwide network of shared branch locations.
