Our group looked boo-tiful on this fang-tastic Halloween! The trio of Mr. Cleans were creepin’ it real clean, but not clean enough to swipe the victory from the dynamic duo of Gertrude and Rita who were ahead of the carve. Fangs for the memories we sure had some skele-fun! 👻 🎃 #Delawie #architecture #interiordesign #HappyHalloween

Our offices are a bit divided these days, but if the number of Delawie supporters for one team over the other have anything to say, we know who will be happiest. 😉 #Delawie #SanDiego #LongBeach #NLDS ⚾ ⚾ ⚾

Delawie Designing Navy Complex in Coronado REAL ESTATE: $68M Project Includes Hotel, Exchange, Food Court By Ray Huard SAN DIEGO – Delawie, an architectural firm based in the Morena neighborhood, has been awarded a contract for the design of a $68 million U.S. Navy complex at Navy Amphibious Base Coronado. The project will include a six-story Navy Gateway Inn and Suites with 200 rooms and suites, an 8,300-square-foot Navy Exchange to replace an existing exchange, a 900-square-foot minimart, a 2,215-square-foot food court, a 300-square-foot barber shop, and a 250-square-foot tailor shop. “The facility that they have there now is kind of in sore need of replacement,” said Mike Asaro, a principal at Delawie. This is the first project of its kind to include a hotel and Navy Exchange and will likely be a prototype for similar projects elsewhere, Asaro said. “We’re doing another one in Florida,” Asaro said. Asaro said that the Gateway Inn and Suites is meant to be a no-frills project that can be easily replicated elsewhere. “Limiting the number of materials and refining the color palate presents a simplified yet compelling architecture,” Asaro said. “The materials and colors have been selected to be low maintenance and comply with the base design guidelines and express a Southern California architectural style.” The construction of the building itself is a bit different because it uses a prefabricated steel frame. https://lnkd.in/gx6r6rkt #construction #commercialrealestate #architecture #design #navy #hospitality #hotel #coronado
